Sambath and Sobha Ashwin from the Weavers Village stated that they attended a
few weddings throughout the monsoon and established that though people enjoyed
the relief from the summers, they established applying mehndi henna dressing
up for weddings ceremonies during the monsoon a sting as they found their clothes
excessively tricky to grip,. The pair then worked on patterns that were handy
for the rains at the same time as enjoying the colors of the rains.
“The
monsoon is a period of efflorescence – the flora in nature is blooming. We thus
used the colors of rains like muted blues, greens and earthy tones for our
collection, As Anarkalis are the toast of monsoon, these flared tops with flattering silhouettes
and rich zari work are paired with three fourth-styled pajamas; perfect for
wading through those puddles.” says The Hindu.
Individuals
who favor a further comfortable and casual gaze, can lineup brocaded and flared
ponchos along with skirts or shorts. On the other hand, if ethnic and
traditional attire is your cup of tea, then the dhavani collection along with
its mottled colors and the saris with colored strand patterns in lotus motifs and
broad zari borders are bound to attract. All the above can be easily accessed from the
village as well as Market shops. For men, colourful jackets and embroidered
kurtas look fashionable when worn out with an edge-designed dhoti. Hand-made
Kolapuri chappals absolute the gaze.
